1. Inspection and maintenance of hydraulic cylinders

   If a hydraulic cylinder is to fully meet user requirements, in addition to design experience and machining accuracy, there is another point that is to be used correctly and maintained regularly. Vent the oil tank before use, adjust the buffer control valve to a reasonable position, check the cleanliness of the oil regularly, clean the dust on the oil tank regularly, and pay attention to waterproofing and fire prevention.

  Inspection and maintenance of seals The piston seal is the main element to prevent leakage in the hydraulic cylinder. For lip seals, check the lip for scratches and wear. For combined seals, check the wear of the sealing surface, and then determine whether the seal is usable. In addition, check whether the static seal ring between the piston and the piston rod is crushed. The piston rod seal should focus on checking the wear of the seal and the support ring. Once the seals and guide support ring are found to be defective, the seals of the same structure and suitable material should be selected according to the structure of the hydraulic cylinder seal to be repaired. This can minimize the gap between the seal and the sealing surface. The thickness of the oil film reduces the leakage of the seal.

  2, cylinder inspection and maintenance

The inner surface of the cylinder barrel and the piston seal of the hydraulic cylinder are the main factors that cause the internal leakage of the hydraulic cylinder. If longitudinal pull marks are generated in the cylinder barrel, even if the piston seal is replaced with a new one, the fault cannot be effectively eliminated. The inner surface of the cylinder barrel is mainly checked for dimensional tolerances. And whether the geometric tolerance meets the technical requirements, whether there are longitudinal pull marks, and measure the depth of the longitudinal pull marks in order to take corresponding solutions. When the cylinder tube has slight deformation and shallow pull marks, the cylinder tube is repaired by a powerful honing process. The powerful honing process can repair cylinders whose tolerances are within 2.5 times of the original tolerance. It uses a powerful honing machine to honing the parts with excessive size or shape errors, so that the overall size, shape tolerance and roughness of the cylinder can meet the technical requirements. The inner surface of the cylinder barrel is severely worn, and when there are deep longitudinal pull marks, it is surveyed and mapped according to the actual object, and the cylinder barrel is reproduced and replaced by a professional manufacturer according to the cylinder barrel manufacturing process. TS311 anti-friction repair agent can also be used to repair the cylinder. TS311 anti-friction repair agent is mainly used for the repair of worn and slipped metal parts. During the repair process, use an alloy spatula to shave grooves with a depth of more than 1mm on the surface of the slip, then clean the groove surface with acetone, and apply the adjusted TS311 anti-friction repair agent to the polished surface with a cylinder inner diameter profiling plate. Scrape the surface forcefully to ensure compaction and be higher than the inner surface of the cylinder. After curing, it is polished to leave a finishing allowance. Finally, the overall size, shape tolerance and roughness of the cylinder meet the requirements by grinding. However, the service life and reliability of this repair cylinder are not high.

3 Inspection and maintenance of the piston rod and guide sleeve The relative movement between the piston rod and the guide sleeve is the main factor causing external leakage. If the chrome layer on the surface of the piston rod peels off due to wear or longitudinal draw marks are generated, it will directly lead to the failure of the seal . Therefore, it is important to check whether the surface roughness and shape tolerance of the piston rod meet the technical requirements. If the piston rod is bent, it should be straightened to meet the requirements or be surveyed and mapped according to the actual object, and manufactured by a professional manufacturer. If the coating on the surface of the piston rod is worn, slipped, or partially peeled off, the coating can be ground off and re-plated with chrome. 4 Inspection and maintenance of buffer valve For the valve buffer hydraulic cylinder, the wear of the buffer valve spool and valve seat should be focused on. Once it is found that the amount of wear has increased and the seal has failed, it should be replaced. The valve core and valve seat can also be repaired by using abrasives.
